Customization of Your 3DPlanView Project

Example Furnishings

Information and images 3DPlanView will need to produce
the custom furniture, fixtures and appliances in your 3D model.
  1. Photograph item perpendicular to center, parallel to side or top.

  2. Supply complete - real world scale measurements

Example of measurements that would be helpful in creating a 3D model of this dining chair...

    • Height to top

    • Height of back oval

    • Width of back oval

    • Width at back of seat

    • Width at front of seat

    • Height of top of seat cushion

    • Thickness of seat cushion

    • Height from floor to base of seat cushion

If manufacturer scale graphics are available, please submit those also.  Example of office chair:

Example Textures or Materials

Information and images 3DPlanView will need to produce
the custom building materials and realistic surfaces on your 3D model.

Tips for photographing or selecting images that work the best for 3D textures:
  1. Avoid images with reflections or glare.

  2. Image needs to be lit well - in bright but not direct sunlight.

  3. Avoid extremely skewed images.  Best images are parallel and perpendicular to the subject material.

  4. Image should show flat or nearly flat subject material.

  5. Higher resolution images usually work the best.

  6. A large sample works better than a small sample ( Example: an image showing a 6'x6' section of floor is better than an image of just one tile.)

  7. Images may be emailed in any common digital format (.jpg, .png, .bmp, gif etc.)

  8. Images may also be submitted via URL link to company or manufacturer.  Include style, color and name of product.

NOTE on Exact Match of Building Materials:

Disclaimer:

There will always be slight differences in color, tone, and texture, as these are dependent on the quality of the original .JPGs.  There may also be differences created by the computer, monitor, and video card used to display the images.)
