Try out a VRML Virtual Walkthrough
 

FIRST: Install the VRML  Cortona Viewer Software:

  • Click on "download."
  • When the download window opens click on "SAVE"
  • A "Save As" window will open
  • Open the folder where you saved your file and double click the file icon.
  • Click "Run" when the window below opens then follow the install instructions.
     


NOTE: Depending on your Internet Browser security settings you may need to click "Allow Blocked Content."

 
 

SECOND: Download this test file: Tuscany2VRML.zip

  • When download window opens click "SAVE" file to your computer.
  • After zip file is saved to your computer, find the zip folder and right click on it.
  • A menu pull-down window should give you an "Extract All" option.
    Click "Extract All".  This will unzip your folder.
  • Once the folder is unzipped, click on the butterfly icon inside the folder. 

 
The VRML viewer should start up.

THIRD: View the 3D Example Model

  • To move around:
    • Hold the left mouse button down and push and pull the mouse to move.
    • Pressing the arrow keys also allow you to move.
       
  • Click the various buttons at the base of the viewer screen.  Each view button changes the way you can move.
     
  • You will be able to walk through walls and "fly" up or down through ceilings and floors. 
     
  • Have FUN!
